A year ago, if you'd told me I'd be launching a skincare brand, I'd have laughed. My days were already full - running a therapy practice, training mental health professionals through Raising Family Academy, and building Partners to Parents.
So why skincare?
Because Livi wasn't a business idea. It was a frustration I couldn't ignore.
I'd stand in aisles trying to choose something as simple as an oil. Every bottle claimed to be the safest. Every label had ingredients I couldn't pronounce. Every brand implied that choosing wrong meant I wasn't informed enough.
I kept wondering: when did something this simple get this complicated?
Here's what I've learned about myself - when something genuinely frustrates me, I don't like complaining about it. I'd rather build the alternative.
So I did.
As a therapist, I spend my days helping people move away from overwhelm, not toward it. I wanted skincare to feel the same way. That's why every Livi product has just one ingredient. Nothing hidden, nothing to decode, nothing to Google.
LIVI isn't a brand I endorsed. It's one I built - because the simplest solutions are usually the ones we've made unnecessarily complicated.
